ESCMT and UNESCO CMAtlv Launch Strategic Partnership to Advance the International “Learning Organization (OA)” Label

ESCMT (École Supérieure Coevolution Management & Technologies) is pleased to announce a strategic collaboration with CMAtlv (Comité Mondial pour les Apprentissages tout au long de la vie)—a UNESCO-affiliated global committee dedicated to lifelong learning. Together, we will promote and operate the Learning Organization (OA – Organisation Apprenante) Label across Europe and China, supporting organisations in building strong, inclusive, and impact-driven learning cultures.

What Is the Learning Organization (OA) Label?

The CMAtlv OA Label is an international, evidence-based, auditable certification that recognises organisations committed to:

• Embedding lifelong learning into governance and strategy

• Ensuring equitable access to learning for all groups

• Fostering a participative, open, and collaborative culture

• Demonstrating measurable impact on people, performance, and society

The process includes: application → expert review → audit/validation → decision → publication → renewal, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement.

ESCMT’s Role: Bridge Between Europe and China

As an official international partner, ESCMT will support both the development and the localization of the OA Label through:

1. China Pilot Program (2–3 Week Light Evaluation)

ESCMT will activate UCMT alumni (from the past 21 years) and partner organisations to participate in pilot assessments, offering:

• Guided self-assessment

• Light review of existing documents and practices

• Practical improvement recommendations

2. Localisation and China-Based Support

ESCMT will provide:

• Chinese-language materials and simplified guidance

• Online briefings and Q&A sessions

• Support for HR, L&D, and education partners

• Adaptation to local procurement and compliance processes

3. Joint Operation of the OA Label Framework

Including:

• Coordination with the CMAtlv Secretariat and Commission

• Support for dossier preparation and evidence checks

• Post-award community building and good practice sharing

• Development of China–Europe learning organisation networks

• Publishing the first China OA Case Collection

• Building a bilingual OA learning community across industries

• UCMT / ESCMT alumni companies

• Educational institutions

• Medium and large enterprises

• Public-service partners and social organisations
